About the Project:

Air Tahiti, a leading airline in French Polynesia, sought to elevate their online presence with a more engaging and user-friendly website. They wanted a website redesign that showcased their diverse flight deals, destination offers, and promotions. In addition, they wanted to improve the booking experience and introduce more dynamic features to enhance user interaction. Our team at KARL Mission worked closely with Air Tahiti to redesign key elements of the website to drive conversions and improve customer engagement.

Mission:

The goal was to create a website experience that effectively displayed flight deals, special promotions, and key destination information while making the booking process seamless and intuitive. By enhancing the website's usability, adding new interactive features, and improving visual appeal, we aimed to increase engagement and bookings for Air Tahiti.

Process:

  1. Needs Assessment: We collaborated closely with Air Tahiti to understand their specific goals, target audience, and business objectives, ensuring that the website would align with their vision and user needs.
  2. Wireframing & Iteration: We created wireframes to map out the website’s structure and layout, working iteratively to refine the user journey and ensure an intuitive and seamless flow across key sections.
  3. UI Design: Our design team translated the wireframes into detailed UI prototypes in Figma, focusing on visual appeal, user-friendly navigation, and responsive design to ensure a high-quality user experience across all devices.

Solution:

Homepage Carousel: We implemented an engaging carousel that displays various flight deals and promotions, allowing users to easily view the best offers.

Discount Card Section: Created a dedicated section highlighting Air Tahiti's various discount card deals.

Best Deals by Destination Section: We designed a visually engaging section that showcases the best flight deals by destination, helping users quickly find great offers.

New Booking Form: We simplified and streamlined the booking process with a new, user-friendly booking form that makes it easy for customers to book flights.

Calendar Widget: Developed a calendar widget that displays the best available prices for flights, enabling users to easily find the best times to book.

Map Widget: Introduced an interactive map widget that allows users to explore various destinations and view flight options, making the planning process more intuitive.

Landing Page Redesigns: We redesigned the landing pages for each destination, archipelago, and island that Air Tahiti services, showcasing stunning imagery and detailed information about each location to inspire travelers.
