Overview

Mix & Match is an online travel agency dedicated to making travel affordable, convenient, and unforgettable for everyone by offering cheap flights and unbeatable holiday deals to destinations worldwide.

Mix & Match sought to improve conversion rates for flight bookings, increase the usage of their flight search engine, and optimize the overall booking flow and user journey on their website to better engage and convert visitors.

Our work began with a thorough web audit, during which one of our key observations was the need to increase awareness of Mix & Match’s offerings.

A/B Testing the Homepage Deals

To capture the attention of potential travelers, we A/B tested and added banner deals to the homepage. By showcasing attractive offers, we aimed to appeal to users’ interests and drive engagement with their travel options.

Over the course of 2 months, we tested 3 offerings:

  1. Win Epic Travel Prizes - A competition element designed to gamify the user experience, drive engagement, and create excitement.
  2. Explore All the Latest Deals - A new page highlighting current offers to draw in users and motivate them to revisit the site.
  3. Hottest Offers Straight to Your Inbox - Encouraging email sign-ups for ongoing engagement and email nurturing opportunities.
