About the Project

As a conversion-focused growth agency, KARL Mission wanted to apply the same strategic thinking we use for clients to our own marketing. We identified an opportunity to create a structured nurture email series that would introduce new subscribers to who we are, how we work, and the value we deliver.

Rather than relying on a single touchpoint, the goal was to build a thoughtful email journey that educates, builds trust, and gradually moves subscribers toward deeper engagement with KARL Mission.

Mission

Our mission was to design and launch a nurture email series that clearly communicates:

Process

To ensure the nurture flow was strategic, scalable, and aligned with how people actually engage with email, we followed a structured approach.

1. Email Flow Planning: We began by mapping out the full nurture journey. This included defining the purpose of each email, determining the optimal number of emails in the sequence, and planning timing and spacing to avoid overload.

We also considered the different ways users might enter the nurture flow, such as through content downloads, newsletter sign-ups, or contact forms, and ensured the messaging would feel relevant regardless of entry point.

2. Content and Design Development: With the flow defined, we outlined the theme and goal of each email. From there, we drafted the copy and designed layouts that balanced clarity, scannability, and brand personality.

Each email was designed with a clear visual hierarchy to guide attention, surface key messages quickly, and support a single primary action without distraction.

3. Email Build and Automation Setup: Once content and designs were finalized, we built the emails in Mailchimp. This included setting up the automation logic, configuring triggers, defining delays between emails, and ensuring the flow worked seamlessly as users progressed through the series.

4. Testing and Quality Assurance: Before launch, we thoroughly tested the emails across devices, email clients, and environments. This included checking desktop and mobile views, light and dark mode rendering, and validating that links, personalization, and automation logic functioned correctly. This step ensured a consistent, polished experience for every subscriber.

Each email is designed to be visually engaging, easy to scan, and intentional in how it guides the reader’s attention. The series works together as a cohesive journey rather than a collection of standalone emails.
